If you are in a violent relationship, you are not alone. There are many resources out there to help you. If you are in immediate danger PLEASE, call 911.

  • National Domestic Violence Hotline 24 hour crisis help line: 1-800-799-SAFE (7233)

  • ALIVE provides counseling, shelter and other services for people affected by domestic abuse.  314-993-2777 or in Franklin County, 636-583-5700.

  • SLEVAWN (St Louis Ending Violence Against Women Network) has a list of many resources throughout St. Louis.

  • The Missouri Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence has many resources throughout Missouri listed on their website.

  • SafeConnections  provides counseling, support services, education, and they have a 24 hour crisis help line: 314-531-2003.

  • Saint Martha's Hall  is an emergency shelter for abused women and their children in St. Louis.  314-533-1313
  • Kathy J. Weinman Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence is through the St. Louis County Department of Human Services.  They offer shelter, therapy, education, meals, and other support.  314-423-1117. 

  • The Women's Safe House also has a 24 hour crisis hotline 314-772-4535 as well as shelter for women and their children and many other programs.

  • Woman's Place offers crisis intervention, referral services, support groups and personal empowerment workshops.  314-645-4848.

  • Lydia's House provides longer term transitional housing and other services as well as promotes domestic violence awareness.  314-771-4411.

  • Provident offers counseling for many reasons, including domestic violence.  314-647-HELP (4357).

  • Raven works to educate the community and prevent violence. 314-289-8000.

  • Legal Advocates for Abused Women (LAAW) can help you with an order of protection and other legal matters. 314-664-6699.
